So I’m thinking: Microsoft can be pretty inept, but not inept enough to believe that people are going to plan and throw Windows 7 parties.

That video has to be intentionally bad; it just has to be. MS may be all straightfaced about it, but they’re yanking our chain. The point was to get people talking about the upcoming Windows 7 release; it has certainly done that.
