What’s mind-boggling is that these things are glibly presented as if they are anything more than a pure design exercise. Don’t get too excited; it does not actually do anything and Mr Hederstierna likely has no idea how it would. Until science achieves the long-dreamt sci-fi fantasy of home-engineered WonderMeat, it’s just a nice looking iCrockpot.

Meanwhile, I’ve invented a controversial French press that converts lawn clippings into hydrogen. You just put them in and squeeze. This will create 100 percent pure auto fuel without the need to extract dead dinosaur juice from the ground and no risk of pollution. It will change everything.
