points to ponder
back when my main blog’s tumblarity was around 200 and twilt’s peaked at 6000 for about a day (but was steadily around 2000), i told myself that if my main blog’s tumblarity ever surpassed twilt’s, i’d stop making new twilts.
today, twilt’s tumblarity is over 100 points lower than that of my main blog.
I wonder if a side effect of consistently publishing a very specific Tumblelog like twilt is that people don’t feel a need to “favorite” things as much, which must affect Tumblarity. I don’t bother fav’ing twilts since I know right where to go if I want to find them again. Other people I follow are more eclectic, so I do fave the things that catch my eye in their streams.
